Facility Rentals
St. James Hall
St. James Hall, a beautiful multi-use facility owned and
operated by St. James by-the-Sea Episcopal Church, is available
for wedding receptions, business meetings, seminars and private
parties. Your guests can step outside and stroll just one block
to the Pacific Ocean for the ultimate breath of fresh air. Our
picturesque location and versatile space will create the perfect
setting for your wedding reception or special event.
The Hall features a spacious kitchen for use by your caterer,
hardwood floors, a stage and a sizable auditorium with a
capacity of 300 seated in rows or 200 seated at tables. There
are two sunrooms with French doors, an outdoor terrace as well
as an inviting foyer with fireplace for more intimate events.
Rental fees include the use of tables and chairs.
The Van Schaick Room
The Van Schaick Room is a beautiful space on the campus of St.
James located just behind the main sanctuary. This space, built
in the early 1930's, provides tile floors, a small stage and
arched shuttered windows which create an old world intimate
space for smaller receptions or meetings. There is a spacious
prep kitchen for use by caterers. The capacity for this space is
50 seated at tables or 75 seated in rows.
