At the Ascension the disciples didn’t want to let Jesus to go. But he couldn’t be held back, he had to be shared with the world. Now, as the Rev. Canon Gwynn Lynch points out, “…instead of looking toward heaven, we can look around ourselves to see all the places and people with whom we can share the love of God.”
