Grant Application 2026

Thank you for your interest in submitting a grant application to the Women of St. James by-the-Sea Episcopal Church for the funds raised by the 2026 White Elephant Sale. Applications are currently being accepted. Please complete the form below and include any pertinent attachments on or before the deadline of August 31, 2026.

If grant funding is awarded to your organization, funds will be distributed in October of 2026.

Organizations whose grants were funded previously are required to submit a documented, itemized accounting of how funds were utilized in order to be considered for future grant requests.

WES Grant Funding Criteria:

Eligible Items: Grants are awarded for tangible, physical items.
Ineligible Expenses: Funding cannot be used for operational costs, including salaries, conference registrations, training, and general overhead.
Evaluation Criteria: Grant applications are based multiple factors, which include community impact (number of people served) and project sustainability (lifespan and longevity of the funded items).
Accountability & Future Eligibility: Organizations who receive grant funding must submit a documented and/or itemized accounting of how funds were utilized, in order to remain eligible for future funding, Documentation must be received prior to submission of a new grant request.
