Ticket Price + 20% for first selection plus complimentary wine & appetizers

MAIN SALE – Saturday, August 24th

Main Sale: 9:00am – 1:15pm
Half Price Sale: 1:30 – 2:30pm
$5.00 Bag Sale: 3:00 – 3:30pm

Free admission all day. Cash preferred, with a $20 minimum per credit card transaction.

The WHITE ELEPHANT SALE invites you to shop (and volunteer) with purpose!  Our department store styled rummage sale is the oldest (92 years and counting) and largest mission outreach at St. James.  All proceeds are donated to local and international charities. Volunteer opportunities abound in donations, set up, cashier, hospitality, and security.


Donations will be accepted from 9:00-11:30 am in or near the Parish Hall starting on April 7, 2024 and every Sunday leading up to the sale.

We accept all quality, clean, new or nearly-new items in the following categories: Clothing, Accessories, Jewelry, Antiques, Art, Housewares, Children’s, Holiday, Outdoor Sales.

The Annual Christmas Bazaar will continue to be combined with the White Elephant Sale this year, with an entire department dedicated to all holiday items.

Donations we do NOT accept:

  • Furniture
  • Car seats
  • Cassette Tapes
  • Computers or printers
  • Cribs and cloth bumpers
  • Electrical appliances (unless new and in the original box)
  • Electronics (unless new and in the original box)
  • Empty picture frames
  • Encyclopedias
  • Exercise machines
  • Helmets (bicycle, hockey, football, etc.)
  • Instruction manuals
  • Lamps
  • Magazines
  • Men’s shoes
  • Paints, solvents, chemicals
  • Plain, clear glass vases from the florist
  • Slide projectors and screens
  • Textbooks
  • Unframed posters
  • VHS Tapes
  • Window blinds

Monetary Donations

We welcome monetary contributions which go into the pool to fund grants after we hold the White Elephant Sale. Monetary contributions are also welcomed to assist with the cost of a storage unit. If you would like to make a financial contribution now, please do so in one of these two ways:

  • Write a check (payable to Women of St. James; write WES on the memo line)
