Foreshadowing darker tones of Advent not far off, the Rev’d Mark Hargreaves questions the Jesus in our gospel reading, asking how can we not be terrified with so much going on in the world today? He concludes “There are many things to be fearful of. But we believe that evil and sin. . . will never have the final word.”
