Jesus entered Jerusalem to shouts of “Hosanna!” from the crowd, meaning “Save now!” (from Roman rule). That was not to be, or as Rev. Dr. Mark Hargreaves put it, Palm Sunday ended as a “day of disappointed expectations”, beginning a week that ends with a passion that involves us all.
