All our readings on this 4th Sunday in Lent deal with new beginnings, fresh starts. The Rev. Dr. Mark Hargreaves refers to poet Louisa Fletcher’s “land of beginning again”. As with the parable of the Prodigal Son, Rev. Mark asks that “…we who know the joy and the promise of fresh starts always be prepared to offer fresh starts to others.”
