The disciples who were fully sighted somehow couldn’t see Jesus for who he was. But Bartimaeus, who was blind, had no trouble. The Rev. Abby VanderBrug assures us that Jesus sees us fully, and as Bartimaeus might say: “Don’t worry, a king is on the way, and trust me, He’ll see you.”
